Besides toxicity, plastic and foam orthotics are just not functionally able to move well with your feet. On the other hand, arch supports made from a natural material like leather (cow skin) will form well and flex properly when walked on. Every time you stride you create movement in your arch.
Our bodies are constantly changing. Millions of cells are produced and millions die each day. In ten years we won't even be the same people in many ways!
